Top tips for looking fierce at 50?

  • Exercise 4-5 times a week. I'm currently doing a 30 minute home intensive training bicycle ride 5 times a week and some of my favourite yoga poses in addition. May sound a bit strange together, but works perfectly for me.
  • Apply SPF 50+ sunscreen as a moisturiser every morning to your face, decolletage and back of hands
  • Eat what you really love, but within moderation. Don't worry if you've had a big meal one day, just eat lighter the next day.

How has your fashion style evolved over the years?
These days, I am much more experimental in fashion compared to how I was 20 years ago, where my style was more mainstream. Today, I love to mix & match different styles, trying to create daily outfits in which I feel confident and beautiful.

Who's your tall fashion inspiration?
So many beautiful inspirational tall women, can't name someone in particular.

Your most loved 50+ stylish women?
Michelle Obama and Yolanda Hadid

Advise for standing out and feeling confident?

  • Do not try to be someone else, or copy a specific style of fashion just to be trendy.
  • Know the best colours for your skin tone, this is the key for feeling beautiful and glowing from within. If you have the opportunity, book an appointment with a colour analyst, it will help you save lots of money in the future.
  • Accept the fact that you are not a supermodel. As long as you are taking care of your body, you should be proud of your figure. When you are confident with your shape, dressing confidently will be much easier.
  • Only wear clothes & outfits that make you feel comfortable

What's the best thing about being tall?
The few extra Covid kilos aren't visible :)
Yes, despite my almost daily sports routine and moderate eating ... the last few months my chocolate addiction has been really hard to control.
But, who cares, I'm okay with putting on a few kilos. I'm okay being me.

With Jennifer Aniston and JLo helping women pave the way in looking sexy after 50, what's your hot tips?
Feel confident in yourself and try to love most parts of your body! Then you will shine from within and look beautiful.
I know, that's a tough cookie but the key to everything :)
